Transforming Digital Pathology & AI – Webinar

Going Digital: How's it being done and adoption of AI, Hard sell or no brainer?

In very recent times Digital Pathology has become the “Go-to” for labs high and wide, but, there still seems to be obstacles that we need to overcome before full adoption of this technology can happen. We spoke with Dr. Gareth Bryson for our last edition of this event, who mentioned that he was “convinced that digital pathology will be the norm in the UK within 5 years”, and we believe it too. However, this advancement demands a strong connection between the internet, laboratory information systems and electronic medical records that artificial intelligence could help solve. Integrating AI in digital pathology is a much needed and important step towards achieving a greater and profound impact on the patient experience.

AI-based computational pathology is also rapidly becoming the solution to a shortage in experienced pathologists and with the ability to process enormous amounts of patient data, leading to (possibly) less errors and a faster diagnosis and classification. Heres the argument, adoption of AI, no brainer, surely?

This webinar was scheduled to take place on 15th October 2021 – 10:30am – 13:45 CET, and served as a platform to further discuss and understand the strength of digital pathology tied with AI. The webinar provided an insight into the practical aspects of implementing digital pathology into clinics and applications in AI settings as well as the who’s doing it and how they’re doing it.

This session has now CLOSED, but please do feel free to register your details to receive the full on-demand recording!
